VQA 2007 Vidal Blanc
Tasting Notes
This 2007 has clean aromas of sweet citrus, pink grapefruit, and floral notes. It is a medium bodied white wine with crisp clean acidity, refreshing and lingering finish. This is Niagara's favourite Icewine grape, used for making an easy drinking wine. Certainly a perfect crowd pleaser.

Food Pairing
Pairs well with lightly sauced chicken or fish dishes. Make a nice sipping wine all on its own as well.
Hybrid Grape Varieties
Hybrid grape varieties were developed in the late 19th century as a result of the phylloxera louse devastating the vineyards of Europe. These vines are created by crossing two different parent plants to create a hybrid off-spring that combines the positive attributes of both parents. The hybrid is typically more disease resistant, harsh climate resistant, and in general more hearty than the parent plants, making these grape varieties well-suited for Ontario’s cool climate growing conditions and harsh winters.
